How does one boot a system from the CD-ROM device?

 

  1. Please be sure that your IDE CDROM devices are connecting to IDE1 or IDE2.
  2. Adjust disk type from within the BIOS setup screen
    1. Go to the Standard CMOS Features
    2. Setup access mode of IDE Primary Master/Slave and IDE Secondary Master/Slave to AUTO.
  3. Adjust the booting sequence from within the BIOS setup screen
    1. Go to the CMOS SETUP UTILITY
    2. Go to the BIOS FEATURE SETUP
    3. Select the Boot Sequence item, then change the booting sequence from "A, C," to "CDROM, C, A."
