This is driver related issue. We find out some versions of ELSA graphic card drivers are with this problem and users report they never experience the same problem after load the nVidia reference driver. If it happens on your system, try detonator driver from nVidia please. For Windows 2000 users, there is also a Microsoft official FAQ which maybe helpful.
