The BL7 or BW7 board failed to power on with POST code "C1". Is it a mainboard defect or something wrong with memory module? (BL7, BW7 or other Intel 845 chipset mainboard)

<Explanation>

  1. According to the datasheet of Intel 845 chipset, x4 bit memory chip and registered modules are not supported.

    • Directly supports one SDR SDRAM channel, 64 bits wide (72 bits with ECC)
    • 133 MHz SDR SDRAM devices
    • 64 Mb, 128 Mb, 256 Mb and 512 Mb technologies for x8 and x16 devices
  3. Before purchasing the memory module, we suggest users carefully check out the memory specification, which should be provided by memory module vendor.
