為什麼在Triton VX 一系列產品中無法使用64MB SIMM？而當 我同時插上64MB SIMM*2 pcs，系統卻僅呈現32MB?

 

這是因為Triton VX chipset僅支援下列的SIMM Module規格:

  1. 512K*32
  2. 1M*32
  3. 2M*32
  4. 4M*32

但是64MB的SIMM規格是16MB*32，不在規格範圍之內，因而系統會以4M*32(亦即 16MB SIMM)來計算;所以系統僅呈現16MB *2pcs=32MB.
