hi,
i purchased a P-3 system with VL6 motherboard. this weekened i bought an
additional 128 MB RAM and installed it as per the instructions given in the VL^\6 users manual. but, during rebooting, the bios doesn't seem to recognze the new RAM. even win 98 says only 128 MB RAM. i replaced the old one with the new one and it worked fine to verify that there is no problem with the memory board i bought. i tried putting the 2 memory boards in all combinations in the 3 slots but only the memory in the DIMM1 slot gets recognized. could you please help me in
this regard
thanks
Ganesan
p.s: i updated the bios to the latest version ("up" --> "yz") also.. it doesn't help
