Gooday,
I have Windows Me and it is said that over 256 Ram is going to slow down my system. I'm just upgrading to the BL7 Raid from a BX-133 (DOA). Does XP have better memory handling?

No actually having more than 256 should be fine, actually it should increase you performance, what you probably heard was the memory problem. By default windows 9x/me will not accept more than 512 unless you configure the vcache. I found a good site to explain this. I had the same problem. I upgraded from 256 to 1.5 in mem on ME. At first it did not function correctly but then I got it. Windows 2000 and XP fix this problem but it will be fine with ME. Go here this will explain http://support.ati.com/infobase/3835.html

Good Luck
