Symptom:

Transfer rate is slow or even crash system while duplicating data into Iomega internal ATAPI / IDE ZIP-100 drive under Windows 98SE or Windows 2000 on KT7A, KG7, KR7A or VP6?

Explanation:

It is timing issue caused by incompatible with VIA 686B /VT8233 south bridge and ZIP-100 drive because ZIP-100 supports PIO-0 mode only.

Solution:

  1. We suggest you set ZIP to floppy mode by setting jumper to MasterA or SlaveA.
