Why do I get crackling when playing DVD with WinDVD program under windows 2000?

This can be solved by enabling DMA mode of your DVD-ROM or HDD from device manager. For the sake of enhancing CPU performance while playing DVD. We recommend you to close all application programs such as SETI software which occupied partial resources of CPU.

Notice¡GIn order to obtain a normal operation of the six-channel output,it is recommended to set the hardware acceleration on the fullest for a maximum usage of the CPU.
(Go to"Start"-->"Control Panel-->"Sounds and Multimedia-->"Audio"-->"Advanced"--> "Performance". Move the slider of "Hardware acceleration " to "Full" position.
